C’est sur fond de Bullets par Achive que CDProjekt (The Witcher) a dévoilé la première vidéo de Cyberpunk 2077. Une simple cinématique ne montrant certes aucune image du jeu mais qui reste suffisamment soignée pour éveiller toute notre curiosité.
Plutôt prudent, le développeur polonais refuse pour le moment d’indiquer une date de sortie pour son futur RPG open-world non-linéaire.
La description de la vidéo donne également des indications supplémentaires sur le jeu, et notamment sur la MAX-TAC (Maximum Force Tactical Division), plus généralement appelée Psycho Squad, dans sa luttre contre les Psychos. Ces derniers sont des individus ayant abusé d’implants et dont le corps tend finalement à se rebeller et à assassiner les gens qu’ils appellent ‘sac à viandes’ (meatbags). Et c’est alors qu’intervient donc la Psycho Squad pour mettre fin à ces massacres.
The Psycho Squad specializes in combating « psychos » — individuals who overuse implants and substances that boost or otherwise alter the human body.
There comes a point when they overdose on these innovations, and their bodies start to rebel against their biological body parts as well as all things organic around them. Simply put, they start killing people, who they now derisively call « meatbags. »
When a psycho goes on the rampage, strange things can happen. There’s carnage, and the psycho might be taken down by regular police, but they’re not always able to get the job done.
When things spin out of control, they call in MAX-TAC (Maximum Force Tactical Division), popularly called the Psycho Squad.
